For the first time since 2019, AEF was proud to welcome back our overnight field trip Backyard Bound. This program is dedicated to providing students from our Academies of Hospitality and Tourism, Culinary Arts, and Mass Media a chance to experience both the consumer side and the professional side of our industry. #Inspiration is at the forefront of this field trip as 30 students over two days heard from leaders in sales, event planning, culinary arts, public relations, operations and more. Thank you to all of our field trip partners and speakers for sharing their expertise: ★ Grand Hyatt WashingtonThe Duck & The Peach and Eastern Point CollectiveMonumental Sports & EntertainmentCarmine's NYC Family Style ItalianGeorgetown University Athletics ★ Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture GardenTCMA for Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade CenterWashington Area New Automobile Dealers Association (WANADA) and The Washington Auto ShowDestination DC Special thank you to our Academy students and educators from Ballou High School, Jackson-Reed High School, Roosevelt High School, River Terrace Education Campus, Coolidge High School and Columbia Heights Educational Campus for joining us!
