HTM Talk 001 || The research on the various Corporate Social Responsibilities of the Hospitality and Tourism Industry was presented by the Hospitality and Tourism Management students enrolled in the Sustainable Tourism subject at PHINMA Araullo University. The presentation emphasized the significance of CSR in hospitality and tourism businesses, particularly its favorable effects on the economy, society, and environment. The participants gained an understanding of their obligations as aspiring hospitality and tourism professionals and were able to evaluate the effects of various activities that were presented. ✔️In order to communicate with many stakeholders, Wang et al. (2018) describe corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a key approach for voluntarily reflecting social and environmental issues in the operation of the firm. Society's expectations towards the environment are currently changing, and businesses have started developing plans for sustainable management practices. According to research, CSR increases stakeholder value in accordance with the stakeholder theory (Kim et al., 2019), creates a sustainable competitive advantage (Lee and Lee, 2019; Kim and Kim, 2020; Matten and Moon, 2020), and is essential for a company's long-term growth and survival (Bahta et al., 2021). #HospitalityManagementPHINMAAU #TourismManagementPHINMAAU #SustainableTourism #SustainableDevelopmentGoals #CMASJTeamHTM
