Visiting PVR's GOLD Class theater was a truly exceptional experience for me as an explorer throughout my on going field of Digital Marketing and relating things professionally. The hospitality extended to the limited number of customers was impeccable. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by courteous staff who ensured a seamless and luxurious movie-going experience. While the price factor is higher than regular theaters, it's justified by the plush leather seats, a dedicated lounge, and gourmet food options. The best part was the personalized attention - I felt like a VIP with the dedicated butler service. The attention to detail in the ambiance and service was remarkable. Today's movie reminded me of a key lesson applicable to both marketing and life: "All work and no joy makes a handsome a dull boy." It underlines the importance of balancing work with leisure, a concept often overlooked in the fast-paced professional work environment either it's digital marketing world or any other. It's a reminder that in my field, connecting with audiences through entertainment can be just as impactful as the work itself. In art everything is possible, but everything is not necessary

2014 - Orange County Government releases the Orange County Sustainability Plan. It includes a call for robust and sustained funding through Tourist Development Tax revenues of a destination arts experience that will help shape the global perception of our community as a destination for world-class art and culture. 2015 - Downtown Orlando releases the findings of Project DTO. It calls for the City of Orlando to fund the same… a destination art festival that draws people to our urban core for a totally unique public arts festival. 2023 - two additional findings at both the county and city level. The 2023 Orange County Arts Ecology Study calls for funding of IMMERSE Fest by name. And the 2023 Project DTO 2.0 continues to call for the funding of arts initiatives that will transform DTO into a destination for world-class arts experiences. Why all this support from the public and industry professionals? They recognize the immense value of a destination public arts festval in making Orlando Unbelievably Real! It’s an essential element of helping Visit Orlando expand our cultural tourism opportunities… and of helping Orlando Economic Partnership’s economic development initiatives of recruiting and retaining business and talent. Since I posted about Disney's "This Is Magic" campaign and how I would've arrived to that creative, I thought I'd share my thoughts on Universal Orlando Resort's take on how a vacation in Orlando should be like. Here's how I would've arrived at Universal's "It's more than magic. It's real." creative. Campaign: "It's more than magic. It's real." Target audience: Tourists and families who perceive theme parks as not a "real vacation". Consumer problem: Tourists with families don't go to Universal because it doesn't provide a "magical experience". Insight: Magic isn't real, so magical experiences are often artificial or fake. Advantage: Universal positions themselves as a place where movies come to life, as in real life. Strategy: Show tourists that they can experience something real at Universal Orlando by showing them real experiences make a longer lasting impression than magical ones.
