Was it your first job? A professor? Great colleagues?

Hundreds of students in Washington, DC are introduced to our industry through their high school Academies and through AEF. Are you looking for help this spring during your peak season? How about an intern at no cost to you?

Through the DC Public Schools Career Bridge Internship program, high school seniors will gain real-world experience before graduation and solidify their post-secondary plan. As a fully paid opportunity by the DC Department of Employment Services, hosting an intern comes at no cost to the employer.

  • Interns will be engaged at their host employers’ properties 10-12 hours per week for six weeks (March 13 - June 19).
  • Times and schedules are flexible. After school and weekend hours are preferred.
  • We are seeking in-person internship opportunities. In previous years, interns were able to take advantage of both front and back of house positions at area hotels.
