AEF hosted a total of 11 Career Ready Interns (CRIs) this summer, engaging in meaningful experiences such as meeting with hospitality executives, exploring the city and discussing how the Washington, DC hospitality industry can create a welcoming and safe environment for residents and visitors alike.

Throughout the internship, professionals generously volunteered their time to provide valuable feedback during the interns' weekly presentations. Thanks to work-based learning partners:

To celebrate the end of the six-week program for the career and technical education Academies of Hospitality & Tourism, Culinary Arts and Mass Media 60 interns across the District, AEF and the Omni Shoreham Hotel hosted a networking luncheon for CRIs and host employers from around he city.
