Building Global Pathways at DDC’s Global Marketplace

Global Diplomacy Academy students from Jackson-Reed High School attended DDC’s Global Marketplace. The annual gathering at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is focused on international travel data and Washington, DC’s sales and marketing strategy. Students networked with representatives from seven global offices, DC business leaders, and over 250 hospitality, marketing and sales professionals.

Scholars Engage in Advocacy at Reagan National Airport

Scholars from the Ballou and Coolidge High School Academies of Mass Media attended the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority’s “Combatting Human Trafficking” event at Washington National Airport.  

The event focused on awareness, action and advocacy in the aviation industry. Students documented the interactive workshops through photography, videography and interviews.
